The Operators Behind WPG

Experience matters only when it changes the quality of a decision. The leadership model connects complementary operating responsibilities so an independent brand is not left coordinating every gap alone.

Why this mattersLeadership credentials matter only when they create clear responsibility for current decisions.+

Now whatMeet the WPG operators
  • WPG assigns distinct operating responsibilities to named principals.
  • Experience is relevant when it improves a current decision.
  • Accepted work must have clear ownership after the initial conversation.

A biography is not an operating model

A company can assemble impressive names and still leave every important decision disconnected. Founders, buyers and partners need to know more than where a leader worked. They need to understand what that experience makes the person responsible for now, where one responsibility meets another and who remains accountable after a commercial decision is made.

Patrick Sills carries the commercial route

Patrick Sills leads global commercial strategy, growth and partnerships. His approved record includes experience at Philip Morris International and work connected to the Canadian retail expansion of IQOS, followed by the development of Cannitec Solutions and WAKE. He applies that experience to market entry, channel strategy, partnerships and the route between a credible product and revenue.

Abeer Subhani carries the brand system

Abeer Subhani leads brand strategy, marketing and communications. His approved record spans marketing, music, entertainment, branded experiences and retail, including work connected to major consumer and lifestyle brands. His responsibility begins before advertising: defining the audience, position, identity and story a brand can carry consistently through product, packaging, retail, partnerships and publishing.

James Cappellano connects decisions to execution

James Cappellano leads growth, ventures and decision strategy. He looks past the pitch to determine what customers will buy, what the market will support and where the company can win. His work across the portfolio, PULSE and Clocked N’ Loaded connects product concepts, commercial research, publishing, culture and operating design to the hard decisions required to move an opportunity forward.

Maria Krivochei connects opportunity to financial and operating reality

Maria Krivochei leads finance and operations. Her responsibility is the point where an exciting opportunity must become a fundable, supportable commitment: budgets, operating requirements, delivery capability and the discipline needed to carry accepted work. Commercial ambition has to survive that test before the company asks a brand, buyer or partner to rely on it.

Opportunity must become accountable work

WPG evaluates every opening by what the company can responsibly execute. Access, recognition and attention are not proof of a commercial result; the opportunity must connect to clear responsibilities, product readiness and a measurable outcome.

Different responsibilities must still answer to one result

Commercial strategy must match operating capacity. Brand publishing must match the evidence. Partnerships must meet a prepared product, channel and demand path. Finance needs a defined commercial job to evaluate. The operating record brings those responsibilities together before the market exposes a contradiction.

The brand leader remains essential

Shared responsibility does not erase the founder or operator closest to a brand. WAKE, PULSE and ALRT each require distinct product knowledge, cultural judgment and audience trust. The company supplies commercial depth around that leadership while protecting the reason each brand deserves to exist.

Start with the decision that needs an owner

A productive conversation begins with a real commercial decision: a product entering market, a channel opening, a partnership requiring execution, a brand that needs a clearer position or an operating gap preventing demand from being served. The leadership team can then determine who must carry the work, what evidence is required and whether the company is prepared to be accountable for the path.
